Social Media Commercial
I’m a big fan of retro casio watches so that’s why i chose the product. I wanted to add something shorter and more common to my portfolio. Something a creative/social media agency would need on a daily basis. I used motion tiles for transitions and big/blocky fonts for taglines and descriptions. I wanted the design and it’s purpose to be obvious and straight to the point.
App Design and Motion Design Animation
The Dreamer App was designed in Illustrator, primarily as a conceptual project rather than a functional application. While I applied some principles of app development that I’ve learned, its primary purpose is for motion design. Animation is supposed to work as an explainer and promotional ad in one.
I’m very much interested in AI possibilits and wanted to create a concept for a tool i haven’t seen before.
Explainer Video about the most disastrous film set ever
Example of a explainer video. This one unravels insane production of Island of dr Moreau. Due to videos length and amount of content I had to use after effects very efficiently. Most of the appearing photos and graphics had to be manipulated in photoshop and illustrator to fit the theme and style of the video. Narrator was AI generated, for some texts i had help from Chat GPT. I tried to showcase few different techniques of animation.
Wild Fox Witbier Promotional Video
Wild Fox was one of my first bigger projects in After Effects.
The plan was to create a promotional video and presentation for a beer brand.
I started with labels in Illustrator and then created pack shots in photoshop. I tried to keep everything clean and consistent.
Page presentations were done in Illustrator, some of the effects in Photoshop.
Animation was geared to show off an understanding of various techniques in After effects. Combining video with pack shots, using motion design elements, picture manipulation, color correction etc. All done with keeping animation consistent and not to flashy.
Other Motion Design Projects
Example of a passion project i created in After Effects. Central concept was to create a animated movie poster for the movie „Moon”. I was trying to show various styles of poster design throughout the years. All of them were created in illustrator and Photoshop. Blending them all together in AE turned out to be a great learning experience.
